Hannah & Friends Neighborhood is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located on a 40 acre residential community along Hollyhock Road, north of South Bend, Indiana. The organization provides much needed housing and program services for children and adults with special needs.
The goals of Hannah & Friends Neighborhood are:
- Provide affordable and accessible residential and educational opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Create a fun, safe and nurturing environment for children and adults to learn life skills and grow with their peers
- Establish therapeutic and educational programs that will enrich the lives of children and adults with special needs

Brief History of Hannah & Friends Neighborhood
August 2007 Ground breaking for Hannah & Friends Neighborhood
August 2008 Eck Rec Center opened
January 2009 First Dance Party – and programs began at the Eck Rec Center
September 2009 The first residents moved into The Peter Schivarelli and Chicago Home.
Summer 2010 Dedication of the Archer Family Equine Center; Grotto of our Mother Mary added to the Neighborhood, donated by the Golic Family
June 2010 First summer of day camp offered and a household of men joined the Neighborhood, moving into the Jon Bon Jovi Home.
June 2013 A household of women moved into the Entwistle Family Home
June 2013 Hannah & Friends and Mosaic partnered to start a new Day Program at Hannah & Friends Neighborhood

Spring 2014 Programs began to use the Activity Center
Winter 2016 Two men moved into the Weis Learning Center
